Jordyn + Jay, a Cozy Old Town Farm Wedding
As November rolled in and the chilly Southwestern weather finally came to New Mexico, two high schools sweethearts made it official on one of the most enchanting fall days ever. Jordyn and Jay’s Old Town Farm wedding was truly one beyond belief; this day was filled with the deepest sense of community and unconditional love.
Many moons before saying “ I do”, Jay and Jordyn first met while both were just kids at West Mesa High School in Albuquerque and soon after they fell fully in love with one another. After many years of traveling all over the place, eating the best food, and exploring New Mexico together, these cuties started a family of their own with their sweet daughter, Sophia, and adorable pup, Maeby. While on vacation in San Diego, Jay proposed to Jordyn on the beach with the most stunning pearl engagement ring of all time (and Jordyn, of course, said yes!).
These hunnies knew that having their wedding in their hometown was incredibly important and once they discovered quaint little Old Town Farm, they knew they wanted a cozy, yet romantic affair right near the heart of the city. Jordyn and Jay included a lot of utterly beautiful details, like that dreamy bridal gown and unreal bouquet, but perhaps the most special aspect was the way these two included their talented friends and family in the creation aspect of their wedding: from their cake to their music to their officiant. Jay and Jordyn’s day was one filled to the brim with an unparalleled amount of joy and love, both between these cuties and with all of their guests. From soaking in the golden hour as newlyweds to dancing the night away with loved ones, Jordyn and Jay made sure that their wedding was the most unforgettable evening of all.
Cheers to married life angels, we already know you’ll bring even more brilliance into the world around you!

Emily + Adam, a Vibrant Downtown Anniversary Session
A whole year after saying “I do”, Emily and Adam spent an evening with us in ever-eclectic downtown Albuquerque for some of the most dreamy anniversary portraits of all time. This sweet little winter evening was truly the highlight of our quiet December.
Even though we didn’t get to spend more than a few hours with them, we were still head-over-heels for these lovebirds and their incredibly palpable connection. Adam and Emily kept the evening light with lots of laughs, but still utterly romantic. And we adored the way these lovers were down for everything! From discovering all the amazing murals to visiting an iconic theater to ending the whole session at a cozy coffee shop, Adam and Emily took us on the most spontaneous little outing.
We adore anniversary sessions and adore them even more when they include couples who we’re immediately smitten with. Cheers to many more years of adventure and love cuties!

John + Divya, a Heavenly Santa Fe Wedding
On perhaps one of the most gorgeous November days, sweethearts Divya and John made their love official with a colorful, multicultural, and joyful day in the middle of Santa Fe. These Minneapolis babes brought an incredible amount beauty to the Southwest for a truly unforgettable celebration.
These angels first met several years ago through mutual friends during a summer outing at karaoke bar, The Vegas Lounge. Upon feeling that initial spark, John proceeded to sing “Kryptonite” by 3 Doors Down on karaoke and even though Divya claims that she was unimpressed by his song choice, she was still drawn to him. And while both of these two were incredibly busy with work, school, and life, the stars finally aligned in winter of 2016, allowing for John and Divya to make their first date a reality. A few years down the road on their fifth anniversary, John proposed to Divya while out on a walk with their sweet pup, Phoebe and then surprised her with all of their close friends and family at a local brewery.
For their nuptials, these cuties knew that John’s home state of New Mexico would make the perfect backdrop for their multicultural wedding and immediately fell in love with La Fonda on the Plaza. Divya and John combined both of their backgrounds seamlessly into their day: from a Hindu ceremony to honor Divya’s family to a traditional ring exchange to an amazing outfit change during their reception. Every last inch of this day was full of color, love, and genuine happiness. Seeing these two absolutely blissed out during their first evening as newlyweds was truly such a dream, making this wedding one that we’ll never forget.
Cheers to these soulmates and all of their adventures ahead, we know that Divya and John will continue to bring so much light into this world.

Ben + Stephven, a Romantic Santa Fe Wedding
On a serene fall day that can truly only be described as deeply enchanting, Ben and Stephven made their love official in the middle of Santa Fe. These sweethearts’ day overflowed with beauty, love, and joy, making for a stunning testament of their everlasting devotion to one another.
Opting out of some of the more traditional wedding day practices, Stephven and Ben got ready together, allowing for them to soak up even more sweet moments together. After an emotional, yet lighthearted ceremony, a festive mariachi band led these angels and their guests to one of the most surreal tented-receptions we’ve ever laid eyes on. From the the romantic fairy lights adorning the top of the tent to the array of fresh flowers and succulents by Bagels’ Florals to the sublime details by Just Lovely Weddings, this fête was one for the books. And if all of this charm wasn’t enough, these newlyweds opened up the dance floor for the night with the most touching first dance.
Ben and Stephven’s love will always be one we hold incredibly close to us, we were beyond lucky to celebrate these incredible souls!!!!

Ashley + Steven, a Heartfelt Northern New Mexico Wedding
During our quiet month of August, our team was whisked away to Northern New Mexico for a gorgeous summer fête. Lovebirds Steven and Ashley made their love official after many years and it was truly a sight to behold.
High school sweethearts Ashley and Steven have known each other since their teenage days and fell in love after graduation. Since becoming official, these two have spent their days cruising up the highway to Colorado to experience as many little mountain towns as they can in their free time. Their fur baby, Beau, is always in tow and they have made so many sweet memories in the mountains. One weekend in 2021, Steven surprised Ashley with a spontaneous getaway where he popped the question with a stunning mountain view as their backdrop.
Ashley and Steven’s August affair was full of personal touches from the venue to the vows. The couple tied the knot with a ceremony filled with happy tears at the bride’s childhood church followed by a reception in Truchas, New Mexico where the couple hopes to reside one day. A light summer rain kissed the ground as the bride made her entrance at the church doors to walk towards the love of her life, setting the stage for a most ethereal, dreamy mood.
Surrounded by majestic mountain views, their reception was warm and inviting to their delighted guests who didn’t shy away from the dance floor. The mountain peaks and lush green ensconced all who were present to celebrate the pure, true love of Ashley and Steven.
We were so elated to be part of such a sweet soiree, congrats on forever angels!

This enchanting evening was no exception and our team captured some of the most genuine, joyous moments between a pair that is beyond extraordinary together.

Will + Elizabeth, a Sublime Bishop's Lodge Wedding
We rounded off the ever-magical month of October with some very heavenly nuptials at Bishop’s Lodge right above the Santa Fe Plaza. Chicago babes Will and Elizabeth made their union official with an ethereal soirée on quite possibly the most pristine fall day one could ever hope for in the Southwest.
These cuties met back in 2011 while they were both in college at Miami University in Ohio and after their first date they were absolutely smitten with one another. Upon graduation, these two moved to Chicago where they began their new chapter together. In October of 2021, Will surprised Elizabeth with a sunset engagement on a Santa Monica beach followed by a surprise celebration with a handful of these hunnies’ closest friends and family.
Elizabeth and Will soon had their hearts set on Bishop’s Lodge for their big day as this venue’s iconic views and stunning architecture truly make it one of The City Different’s most magnificent jewels. These lovers combined all of the classic and modern details any hopeless romantic could dream of: an unparalleled Vivienne Westwood bridal gown, soft and yet chic white florals by Floral Elegance, and easily one of the best dressed wedding parties we’ve ever laid eyes on. And to top off all of the magnificence this lovely day encompassed, Will and Elizabeth made extra time for not only the dreamiest of wedding portraits, but for extremely intentional moments with their guests during cocktail hour.
We’re sure that this pair will continue to create beauty and joy on every adventure ahead of them, cheers to married life!

Wedding Inspo - Moody + Modern Weddings
As the days get shorter and the nights get longer, its not hard to notice that weddings get just a little bit more moody and romantic. This season our couples took that dark, romantic aesthetic to the next level with truly unparalleled weddings.
While classic nuptials and boho celebrations still had a hold on 2022 weddings, it was soirées with the perfect blend of modern and moody details that took center stage. From dark florals with just the right amount of color to ceremonies in chapels with gothic architecture to black wedding gowns to making it official in one of the most haunted cities in the United States (New Orleans), these moody days brought in all the mysterious beauty we could ever dream up.
We have an inkling that we haven’t seen the last of these magical fêtes quite yet, here’s looking at 2023 to bring even more bewitching nuptials to life.

Sophia + Andrew, a Quaint Taos Elopement
On a quiet afternoon in late October, lovers Andrew and Sophia were wed in the tiniest, most emotional ceremony. These cuties made their incredible elopement up north one that we’ll never forget.
Sophia and Andrew initially met through Greek life at the University of New Mexico in 2015 during ‘Derby Week’. Sophia bet on a date with Andrew and they became inseparable from that day forward. A few years later in 2022, Andrew proposed to Sophia in their new home right after they closed on it.
These cuties knew that a big wedding wasn’t their vision, so instead they opted for the sweetest, most intimate day at The Adobe and Pines Inn in the most magical place in New Mexico, Taos. Along with their closest family members and their pup Simcoe, Sophia and Andrew said “I do” in the middle of a stunning labyrinth surrounded by the soft yellow glow of late-fall aspen trees. After making it official, these babes celebrated with their favorite wine, donuts from Rebel Donut, and a charcuterie board that we’re still drooling over. And the best part of this serene little evening? We got to whisk these lovers away for endless portraits all over the gorgeous property.
Sophia and Andrew reminded us of just why we love elopements so dang much, nothing compares to small, yet intentional celebrations shared with the closest of loved ones. Cheers to forever hunnies, married life looks so good on you both!

Erin + Caleb, a Golden Hour Couples Session
Nebraska sweethearts Erin and Caleb, along with their fur babies, Lucy and Raleigh, spent the evening at the Bosque with us and we had the sweetest time capturing their precious family. Exactly two years to the day, our team had the pleasure of doing their engagement session and to have documented their wedding day in 2021 alongside this tiny family session with their pups truly feels like a full circle moment.
These cuties met six years ago at a bar in their hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska and it was an instant connection. Since their initial meeting, they have built a life and relationship that is absolute goals. Erin and Caleb love each other on an extremely deep level, always supporting one another in any and all endeavors. They enjoy adventuring together across the U.S. and even traveled across the pond to London, Paris, and Amsterdam (and we’ll be thinking about those Paris photos for many days to come) all in style as our angel Erin is the most effortlessly stylish queen we know. The most notable destination for this couple is Disney as it will always hold the most special place in their hearts. We love to see their unadulterated joy of exploring new and old destinations (and Disney fits their bill just perfectly).
When they aren’t hopping on planes, their favorite place to be is home with each other. Erin and Caleb adore their pups and soaking in family time as self proclaimed homebodies. We admire their practice of being very present with one another as they’ve shown us how time spent with each other is their most precious commodity.
Cheers to being present with the ones we love most and to this exceptionally kind, loving couple. The world needs more of them and we’re always honored to bask in the glow of their sweet love!

Elsa + Matthew, an Enchanting Los Poblanos Wedding
When Elsa and Matt shared their incredible wedding vision with us, we knew that their day was going to be an unforgettable fête. These sweet angels brought the tiniest group of their favorite people to New Mexico for an October day and it made for the most joyous of celebrations.
These babes first met on a dating app right before the pandemic and when the entire world shut down, Matt and Elsa grew even closer during lockdown. After moving in together and adding their sweet pup Otis to the mix, Matt proposed to Elsa in Santa Fe. These hunnies have noted they individually bring such a rich balance to their relationship and that they were beyond thrilled to bring their love full circle.
Elsa and Matt settled on an intimate fall wedding at serene-as-ever Los Poblanos with just a handful of their closest loved ones. We adored seeing these babes bring their wedding to life with unique, intentional elements. With soft ivory touches and a hint of vintage detailing, Elsa was truly a vision in her divine Markarian gown, sparkling Lelet NewYork headband, and blush-toned Manolo Blahnik heels. Matt’s sleek, yet classic black tux added the perfect compliment to all of the incredible wedding day styling encompassed in this day. To top it off, these cuties leaned into a charming, whimsical vibe with soft florals, a garden ceremony, and a romantic candlelit dinner. We loved seeing Matt and Elsa take in their first moments as husband and wife during the most gentle October golden hour. Finishing off an already stupendous day, these lovers danced the night away with all of their guests, truly making this evening one for everyone to revel in together.
We already know that Matt and Elsa will continue to make the world a little bit more magical together as newlyweds, here’s to the most enchanting new chapter!
