Wedding Inspo - Fall Weddings

As the temperatures begin to drop and the world around us turns to soft shades of orange, we know that fall wedding season is just around the corner. Besides being the busiest time of the year for us, autumn holds so much promise and beauty for our team as we journey out to capture all of the nuptials taking place amid the gently changing season.

From the moody and romantic fêtes to the more subtle and easy-spirited days, weddings in the fall always bring something extra special to the mix. Whether its florals in all hues of yellow and brown or the mystical light of an autumn sunset at the end of a stunning wedding day, weddings at this time of year always bring us full circle in a perfect mix of nostalgia and inspiration.

We’re so thrilled for all of the love stories to be captured at this incredibly special time, we know that we’re going to lean into this fall in the best way possible.

Tyson + Sarah, a Charming La Fonda on the Plaza Wedding

A decade-long love story finally reached new heights this May when Sarah and Tyson were finally wed with all of their loved ones alongside them. These angels brought so much love and energy to the Santa Fe Plaza, it was truly a celebration for the books!

Tyson and Sarah first met over 11 years ago in Australia (where Tyson is from) when Sarah was visiting the country. A small spark between these lovers turned into a flame that stood the test of time and distance as these babes moved to different cities and countries, both near and far away from one another. When Sarah and Tyson both finally ended up in Albuquerque, they knew it was time to turn the page in their love story.

After getting engaged in late 2019, these lovebirds had their hearts set on a 2020 wedding, however the universe (and the pandemic) had other plans. Even though Tyson and Sarah ended up marrying in a small ceremony last year, they decided that they still wanted a huge party with all of their friends and family, a dream that came true this May. From Sarah’s absolutely regal bridal style to the colorful florals sprinkled throughout the day to the all night dance party these lovers held, this spring evening was beyond anything we could’ve dreamed up.

Cheers to making it official (and then making it official again), these long-awaited weddings are some of the most special of all!

Last season we saw some of the most incredible wedding day looks around, including a dreamy red velvet blazer, stunning bolo ties, and even the sleekest white sneakers (!!!).

Wedding Inspo - Dogs in Weddings

When it comes to weddings and elopements, there’s one guest we adore above all: dogs. We are absolutely smitten each time one of our couples includes their sweet fur babies in their special day and always have to squeeze in a few extra photos (and pets) with them.

No matter the type of wedding, we truly believe that including dogs should be a YES every single time. From the biggest, most elegant days to the quieter, more intimate nuptials, pups really do make everything that much more fun and exciting. We love seeing these precious furry angels ‘get ready’ with their parents, be a part of the ceremony, and (of course) be the star of any and all portraits.

If you’re on the fence about including your pups in your wedding or elopement, this is your sign to do it and to bring us with you!!

Logan + Audry, a Magical Taos Ski Valley Wedding

On the most divine afternoon in August, Logan and Audry said “I do” after nine whole years of being together. These sweet Wisconsin angels invited us to be a part of the magic up in Taos Ski Valley and it was truly heaven on earth.

Long before they were making it last name official in the iconic Kachina Basin at Taos, Logan and Audry were just a couple of college students who happened to meet by chance through mutual friends at a party. They found an almost instant spark and have been falling more and more in love with each other since. A few years down the road, Logan and Audry moved to the beautiful Southwest where they currently live with their two pups, Skip and Georgia. And as if life couldn’t get any sweeter for these cuties, Logan proposed to Audry in 2019 on a rainy day in New York City.

For their special day, these hunnies decided to get hitched at Taos Ski Valley not only due to its immense beauty, but because its the ski resort where Logan taught Audry how to ski and it continues to be one of their favorite places in all of New Mexico. On top of having the most ethereal mountain view for their nuptials, Audry and Logan also had details that were absolutely to die for. From Audry’s divine bridal gown by Made With Love Bridal to out-of-this-world signage and invitations by Funky Olive Design to the most majestic florals by Floral Elegance to the most stunning reception design by Wild in Wonder, this day was nothing short of the most gorgeous day dream. And if their details weren’t enough to swoon over, Logan and Audry even took some time to wander around with us through the beautiful woods and serene scenery of Taos Ski Valley for some of the most enchanting romantics we’ve ever laid our eyes on.

These two and this day will forever be one that we simply can’t get enough of, cheers to all the love and joy Logan and Audry brought to their incredible summer day! We can’t wait for even more mountain weddings that will surely captivate us over and over again!
