Lovers Natalie and Drew invited us back to Texas to capture yet another one of the most amazing chapters of their lives. Spending a golden-hour evening right outside of Austin with these cuties was such a dream and dang did it take maternity sessions to a whole new level.

We first met these babes back in 2021 when we capture their stunning Camp Lucy wedding. Ever since that ethereal spring evening, we’ve been the biggest fans of The Hiseys. On top of having one of the most iconic weddings of all time, we were over the moon when these Texas hunnies were also featured in Brides of Austin.

We already know that Drew and Natalie are going to be the sweetest, most incredible parents of all time, cheers to the most exciting adventure yet babes!

Wedding Inspo - an Unreal San Antonio Wedding

As our busy 2022 year began to slow down, we squeezed in a tiny bit of time to jet off to the Lone Star State early this winter just in time to capture this stunning day by Traveling Weddings by Taylor. Full of old world beauty and modern day touches, this San Antonio afternoon was one we won’t forget any time soon.

Wedding Inspo - Ethereal Texas Bridal Portraits

We spent an enchanting afternoon in the ever illustrious city of San Antonio for one of the most divine bridal sessions on earth. This glorious evening was one that we can’t get off of our minds.

With a little styling magic from Taylor of Traveling Weddings with Taylor, dreamy bridal glam from Styles by Vero, and the most modern, yet ethereal gown from a and be bridal, this session made our hearts skip a beat. We adored catching the last few moments of golden hour completely immersed in what was nothing short of a fairytale day.

We already dying for the next opportunity to travel back to The Lone Star State, but until then we’ll keep daydreaming about this little piece of heaven.

Jordyn + Jay, a Cozy Old Town Farm Wedding

As November rolled in and the chilly Southwestern weather finally came to New Mexico, two high schools sweethearts made it official on one of the most enchanting fall days ever. Jordyn and Jay’s Old Town Farm wedding was truly one beyond belief; this day was filled with the deepest sense of community and unconditional love.

Many moons before saying “ I do”, Jay and Jordyn first met while both were just kids at West Mesa High School in Albuquerque and soon after they fell fully in love with one another. After many years of traveling all over the place, eating the best food, and exploring New Mexico together, these cuties started a family of their own with their sweet daughter, Sophia, and adorable pup, Maeby. While on vacation in San Diego, Jay proposed to Jordyn on the beach with the most stunning pearl engagement ring of all time (and Jordyn, of course, said yes!).

These hunnies knew that having their wedding in their hometown was incredibly important and once they discovered quaint little Old Town Farm, they knew they wanted a cozy, yet romantic affair right near the heart of the city. Jordyn and Jay included a lot of utterly beautiful details, like that dreamy bridal gown and unreal bouquet, but perhaps the most special aspect was the way these two included their talented friends and family in the creation aspect of their wedding: from their cake to their music to their officiant. Jay and Jordyn’s day was one filled to the brim with an unparalleled amount of joy and love, both between these cuties and with all of their guests. From soaking in the golden hour as newlyweds to dancing the night away with loved ones, Jordyn and Jay made sure that their wedding was the most unforgettable evening of all.

Emily + Adam, a Vibrant Downtown Anniversary Session

A whole year after saying “I do”, Emily and Adam spent an evening with us in ever-eclectic downtown Albuquerque for some of the most dreamy anniversary portraits of all time. This sweet little winter evening was truly the highlight of our quiet December.

Even though we didn’t get to spend more than a few hours with them, we were still head-over-heels for these lovebirds and their incredibly palpable connection. Adam and Emily kept the evening light with lots of laughs, but still utterly romantic. And we adored the way these lovers were down for everything! From discovering all the amazing murals to visiting an iconic theater to ending the whole session at a cozy coffee shop, Adam and Emily took us on the most spontaneous little outing.

We adore anniversary sessions and adore them even more when they include couples who we’re immediately smitten with. Cheers to many more years of adventure and love cuties!

Sean + Kristina, a Whimsical Austin Wedding

In the calm before our incredibly busy wedding season, our team got to capture the dreamiest late April day right outside of Austin. Sean and Kristina’s soirée was truly the perfect prelude to one of our dreamiest springs so far.

These sweet Texas hunnies decided to make it official at one of our favorite hidden gems of Texas Hill Country, the ever quaint Camp Lucy. Surrounded by their venue’s lush gardens and all of their loved ones, Sean and Kristina vowed their love to one another and then proceeded to have the absolute PARTY of the century. From their boldly beautiful floral arch (that we’re still drooling over) to their whimsical details (just look at those gorgeous invites) to the mostly elegantly angelic bridal look (Kristina had everyone in awe over her gown) this little spring daydream was just what we needed to usher in all the warm weather nuptials. And if you weren’t deeply entranced by all of the stunning romantics these babes took with us, their final private dance together at the end of the night is sure to seal the deal (not to mention that killer vintage getaway car!).

Drew + Becky, a Moody El Malpais National Monument Elopement

Pennsylvania lovers Drew and Becky made the trek out west for a quiet elopement in the middle of the desert. We were so excited to be a part of this moody, beautiful elopement at El Malpais National Monument.

These sweethearts first met over 20 years ago in 1998 at just 12 years old when they were neighbors and although they never had an official l first date or anniversary, Becky and Drew were always meant to be. They got engaged in 2016 while visiting Glacier National Park in Montana and decided that they wanted to seal the deal at a National Park somewhere in the West. After a ton of research, these babes chose New Mexico as the backdrop for their new chapter and were married at El Malpais National Monument with a quiet elopement ceremony. Besides their officiant ( who is a National Park ranger!) and us, there wasn’t a single soul present for this serene October day, and truthfully that made it even more meaningful.

We’ll forever adore the couples who make their weddings intentional and true to their love, cheers to Drew + Becky’s love story.

Wedding Inspo - a Gorgeous New Orleans Wedding at Race and Religious

The past few seasons we’ve been lucky enough to travel to some pretty stunning locations, but in late 2021 we got to go to a city that might just take the cake, New Orleans. We traveled down south for a couple of the dreamiest days we’ve ever witnessed and dang are we smitten with it all.

The Big Easy is legendary for its history, its beauty, and (of course) its parties. We spent a day at the iconic Garden District venue, Race and Religious, with some of the most divine people and details. The unreal Clem and Jamie graced the front of our cameras and never have we ever had so much fun with such hotties. We loved capturing these two grooving in the second line parade, sneaking away to the all little romantic corners, and taking a literal plunge into the pool at the end of the day.

Amid all of this excitement, there were also so many gorgeous little details sprinkled into this vision of a day. The lush, ethereal florals by Violetta’s, angelic bridal gown by Gossamer, and dainty headpiece by The Lucky Sixpence were truly only the beginning of this Nola fairytale.

We’ll forever be head-over-heels for this stunning November day, here’s the manifesting even more incredible New Orleans weddings in the years to come!!

Will + Lindsay, an Intimate Pecos Historic Site Wedding

Whenever we get to capture a love story at a National Park, we know its going to be an absolutely stunning affair. Will and Lindsay tied the knot at Pecos National Historical Site after 8 whole years together and it was truly a magical afternoon.

These lovers aren’t originally from New Mexico, but they have always been drawn to The Land of Enchantment. Lindsay and Will first met right after college when they both moved to Albuquerque and ended up being roommates. They soon after fell for each other and continued date long-distance for 5 years during grad school in California. After graduation, Lindsay and Will knew that they wanted to call the Southwest home and moved back to New Mexico to start their next chapter together.

Will and Lindsay held an intimate, minimalist wedding in Pecos with only 15 guests on the most beautiful September day. After the most heartfelt vows, these two wandered around the desert for the dreamiest portraits amid the moody mid-day New Mexico skies. We adored the beauty and simplicity of their day, from gorgeous florals from La Flora Floristry to elegantly-modern bridal glam by the Betty Rose team.

Will and Lindsay’s tiny day was truly one we treasured and dream of day after day, cheers to newlywed life angels!

Taylor + Eliza, an Serene Old Town Engagement

When we first met California babes Eliza and Taylor, we just knew they are some of the most amazing humans around. We spent the most incredible evening exploring Old Town Albuquerque with these hunnies and, dang, was it one of our favorite evenings so far this year!

Taylor and Eliza first met seven years ago through the dating app Hinge and it was truly meant to be from the start (even though ever-punctual Taylor was a whole 15 minutes late to their first date!!). They instantly fell into the perfect groove with one another and years later they consistently hold space in their relationship for empathy, communication, and (most importantly) humor! These babes currently live near Los Angeles with their sweet schnauzer-poodle-terrier mix, Hamish.

We’re counting down the days until Taylor and Eliza say “I do” this April at La Fonda on the Plaza with some of our favorite vendor friends. Cheers to what will surely be one of the best celebrations of the year!!

Mani + Liz, a Lighthearted Fall Engagement

When we first met sweet Mani and Liz, we knew instantly that these lovers are two truly amazing humans. We loved spending the dreamiest fall evening with them, adventuring along the stunning Bosque and ending the evening with drinks at Ex Novo Brewing in the heart of Corrales.

These sweethearts first met six years ago at work and eventually Mani swept Liz off of her feet after about four years of knowing one another. Mani and Liz spend lots of quality time together doing their favorite things: from cooking to exploring to dreaming about their future. Their house is filled with love in the form of two dogs, two cats, and Mani’s wonderful sons.

We can’t wait for Mani + Liz’s jazz inspired wedding this April at Casa Rondeña Winery, bring on all the drinks and all the love!!

Curtis + Elena, a Stellar Colorado Engagement

Longtime lovers Curtis and Elena might be from New Mexico, but they invited us up to our sister state Colorado for their super gorgeous engagement session in Loveland Pass. These angels truly made this dreamy October day even more stunning.

These babes first met over 15 years ago while both attending high school in Las Cruces, NM. They officially became friends two years later while on a band trip and eventually their friendship blossomed into love. Even though they separated for a short time when Curtis moved to Albuquerque to pursue a degree at The University of New Mexico, they soon reunited when Elena also made the move up north and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Soon after graduating from UNM, these cuties moved to Denver where Elena is completing her residency at The University of Colorado and Curtis is working as a city planner. They love cooking, exploring colorful Colorado, and hanging out with their fur baby Hugo!

Curtis and Elena are going to make it official this September with a Southwestern inspired day at La Fonda on the Plaza and we just know its going to be as remarkable as they are. Cheers to over a decade of love cuties!

Solve + Alex, a Festive Wedding at La Mesita Ranch

In the middle of this warm, yet gorgeous summer, Solve and Alex invited us to capture their dreamy nuptials in northern New Mexico. These lovebirds colorful day at La Mesita Ranch is one that we’ll truly remember forever.

This stunner of a wedding started way out west at La Mesita Ranch, a property tucked away near Nambe Falls and known for its breathtaking views and unique touches. With a little bit of magic from the Just Lovely Weddings team and the floral goddesses at Manmade and Sage, the details from this day were truly unmatched. Our dream bride Alex combined the best of classic wedding glam with boho details through her chic wedding gown from Ann Matthews Bridal and her stunning glam by Betty Rose by Alanna while Solve looked extra sleek in an all black tux.

For their stellar ceremony, these cuties included a larger than life floral arch filled with the most unique florals and the sweetest little petal toss. And to top it all off, Alex and Solve’s reception had so much damn beauty. From the incredible lounges by Darling Details to the divine table settings to the most out-of-this-world music by local band Le Chat Lunatique, this July day was perfection to the next level. If all of those touches weren’t enough, we were blown away by these lovers romantic first dance and surprise tambourine party with all of their guests on the dance floor.

We’ll forever be obsessed with the way Alex and Solve brought together all of their loved ones for the most killer summer party, cheers to newlywed life babes!!!

Kevin + Caroline, a Charming La Posada de Santa Fe Wedding

Texas sweethearts Kevin and Caroline brought the absolute party to Santa Fe this summer and it was truly beyond our dreams. Every last detail of this gorgeous day was not only unique, but so dang perfect.

These cuties first met a long time ago in high school, but sparks didn’t fly between Kevin and Caroline until one college break when they were both home with mutual friends. Even thought they started off as best friends, once these two realized how special their connection was, they quickly fell in love. In 2019, Kevin completely surprised Caroline and popped the question surrounded by their close friends and family.

Since these two call Midland, TX home, Caroline and Kevin wanted to have their wedding in a city that gave them that small town feel and Santa Fe was perfect. They soon decided that La Posada de Santa Fe would be the prettiest place to say “I do” and these lovers found the most killer vendor team to make all of their wedding dreams come true. James + Alanna, an Enchanting Los Poblanos Engagement

Perhaps one of the most amazing moments of 2021 was when our absolute wedding day ANGEL, Alanna, asked us to photograph her sweet engagement session with her amazing fiancé, James. We met up with these lovebirds at Los Poblanos for the dreamiest, most romantic day.

James and Alanna first met back in 2013 at work and after what they called “the best first date ever”, these two just knew it was meant to be. Now over four years later these two have built the sweetest life together complete with James’ three adorable kids and a whole bunch of amazing little fur babies (or as Alanna likes to call it, a zoo lol). They’ve been engaged for a little over a year and we’re so damn thrilled for them.

And as if we couldn’t be any more obsessed with James and Alanna, these cuties describe their relationship as one filled with love, patience, inspiration, and growth. Alanna loves James’ intelligence, humor, and kindness while James admires Alanna’s compassion and her love for everyone in her life. These two encourage each other to grow and become the best versions of themselves every single day.

James and Alanna are planning on making it official in 2022 with a potential Hawaiian wedding (!!!!!). We’re so very inspired by these amazing souls and can’t freaking wait for them to start the next chapter of their lives together. James and Alanna, we love you guys to the moon and back!!!

When Alicia’s long-time friend Jessica reached out about capturing her pretty Santa Fe nuptials, we knew it was going to be an incredibly special day. This precious June day with Johny and Jessica was one we’ll truly never forget.

These New Mexico cuties decided to make it official in Santa Fe on a bright, beautiful summer day. Surrounded by only their closest friends and family, Johny and Jessica made sure that their wedding day was not only beautiful, but extremely intentional as well. From colorful florals to dreamy romantics to the best freaking reception party, these two kicked off married life in the most amazing way possible.

The past few seasons we’ve been beyond to lucky to capture a whole handful of gorgeous Texas weddings and elopements with some of the most incredible couples. We adore visiting The Lone Star state for sweet nuptials and even more insane parties in the dreamiest locations.

From the vast beauty of Texas Hill Country ranches to the the elegant estates near Dallas, to Austin’s ultra avant-garde locations, Texas wedding venues have a little bit of everything for every couple out there. Being able to witness so much love on so many different places is such a dang dream, we’re always so excited when Texas couples want to bring us along for the ride!
