We couldn’t pass up an opportunity to shout out one of our wedding day makeup mavens, Alanna Garcia! Over the past few years, so many of our brides have trusted Alanna with all of their glam needs and this MUA queen ALWAYS delivers. Wedding Inspo - Sheath Bridal Gowns

If there’s one current wedding trend that we can’t get enough of, its how popular sheath gowns have become over the past few years. Chic, modern, and effortlessly elegant, this style of dress can go from a backyard wedding to a Santa Fe Plaza wedding to an art gallery wedding to an elopement in the mountains! We love how this minimalist design can be paired with a simple jeweled belt or a lace overlay to make it even more gorgeous. Shout out to one of the most universally flattering designs out there, we can’t wait for more brides to shine in sheath gowns!

James + Lauren, a Los Poblanos Wedding

Earlier this summer we celebrated long-time sweethearts and all around kind-hearted lovers James and Lauren. Even though it rained hard after their ceremony, these two were still the sweetest, easiest people to capture.

James and Lauren met 11 years ago right before their junior year of high school and haven’t been apart since. High atop the Sandia Mountains (and during Balloon Fiesta season!) James proposed to Lauren. They currently live in Arizona with their pup Gouda and their kitty Chamisa and work as teachers.

This gorgeous summer wedding was full as dainty details and soft tones. From Lauren’s delicate bridal jewelry to the stunning half floral arch from our gal pals at Floriography Flowers to the subtle reception details, everything about this day was gently romantic and oh so perfect. The rain didn’t even stop James and Lauren from adventuring with us around the Los Poblanos’ gorgeous grounds for some tender romantics. Cheers to the cutest little couple around, we adore you guys so much!!

Gustav + Jackie, a Los Poblanos Wedding

Gustav and Jackie’s incredible summer wedding at Los Poblanos was just a month ago, but we can’t help & gush over their 6 year long love story and proposal.

These babes met in the summer of 2013 while both working as camp counselors at Rainbow Trial Lutheran Camp in Colorado. Although Jackie had a boyfriend at the time, this didn’t stop these cuties from becoming the closest of friends. While attending separate colleges, Gustav and Jackie kept in contact and during one Skype session, Jackie convinced Gustav to set his dorm trash can on fire (don’t try this at home kids). When Gustav joined the Army in spring of 2015, and had to cut contact with pretty much everyone, Jackie assumed that their friendship had simply faded away.

However, in the best plot twist, Gustav reached out to Jackie in October of 2015 and the two of them made plans to meet in Oklahoma where Gustav was stationed at Fort Sill. Gustav convinced Jackie to go on a date with him and months later, after a little bit of persistence on Gustav’s end, she finally agreed to be his girlfriend. Although Gustav would be stationed in Camp Casey in Korea for
