Francesca + Josh, a Phenomenal La Fonda on the Plaza Wedding
Darling lovers Josh and Francesca took their love to new heights this summer with their dream destination wedding in the middle of Santa Fe. This June afternoon was truly breathtaking and beyond anything we could’ve imagined for these angels.
Long before they said “I do”, Francesca and Josh first met in college while playing inSt.Olaf’s Orchestra way back in 2012. They got to know each other during a trip through the Southwest (that even included a stop in Francesca’s home town of Santa Fe!) and soon began to fall for each other. After years of long distance through grad school, living with each other in Boston during the pandemic, and eventually calling Chicago home with their darling kittens, Josh and Francesca decided to make their relationship even more official. Josh proposed to Francesca in December of 2023 while visiting family in New Mexico during the holidays and it was truly a scene from a movie.
These darlings knew that Santa Fe was such a special part of their relationship that they simply needed to tie the knot in The City Different. Francesca and Josh created the most intentional, beautiful, and energetic day at La Fonda on the Plaza this summer and it was the perfect testament to their love story. These babes included so many unique touches in their day from a heirloom bridal gown to stunning Southwestern accents to Josh joining in with the string quartet during dinner, this day was a real-life cinematic masterpiece.
We cannot wait to see what fresh adventures married life holds for Josh and Francesca, we know it’ll be the most stellar journey!
