2022, a Year with the ALP Team

2022 was truly a year filled with the deepest amounts of love, unparalleled connections, and unforgettable humans who we were lucky enough to cross paths with on wedding days and beyond.

This year took us everywhere and back again, from Sin City to Mexican beaches to the heart of Texas Hill Country to all over The Land of Enchantment, leaving us surrounded with wonder and adoration. We know that the new year will bring even more places, even more breathtaking weddings, and even more love stories, but for now we’ll continue to revel in all that this year gave us.

Wedding Inspo - Moody + Modern Weddings

As the days get shorter and the nights get longer, its not hard to notice that weddings get just a little bit more moody and romantic. This season our couples took that dark, romantic aesthetic to the next level with truly unparalleled weddings.

While classic nuptials and boho celebrations still had a hold on 2022 weddings, it was soirées with the perfect blend of modern and moody details that took center stage. From dark florals with just the right amount of color to ceremonies in chapels with gothic architecture to black wedding gowns to making it official in one of the most haunted cities in the United States (New Orleans), these moody days brought in all the mysterious beauty we could ever dream up.

We have an inkling that we haven’t seen the last of these magical fêtes quite yet, here’s looking at 2023 to bring even more bewitching nuptials to life.

Marc + Maria, a Romantic Santa Fe Plaza Engagement

Late last fall we got to explore one of our favorite spots, the Santa Fe Plaza, with these Cape Cod cuties. Maria and Marc brought so much fun and romance to this sweet little evening, its not hard to see why we’re absolutely obsessed with them.

These hunnies first crossed paths in Boston almost five years ago and initially bonded over their mutual love for Beagles (honestly the best thing to bond over). They eventually decided that their love was a forever thing and started their life together in Cape Cod with their two fur babies Ari (an Italian Greyhound) and George (a Beagle!!!!). Soon after, they visited Maria’s uncle in Santa Fe and knew that The City Different would be the most magical place to say “I Do”. These cuties are gonna make their wedding dreams a reality this fall at the ever stunning Four Seasons Santa Fe.

We are beyond excited to celebrate with these angels later on this year, bring on all the Southwestern beauty!!!

Wedding Inspo - Groom Style 5th Edition

Every season we’re in awe of all the dreamy details our couples pull out for their special day and we’re continually impressed by our amazing grooms. From the most casual celebrations to the elegant, black-tie affairs, these guys always know how to nail the perfect style.

Whether its a simple blue suit for a backyard wedding or a sharp black tux for an elevated soirée, groom style never ever fails to absolutely wow us. Last season we saw some of the most incredible wedding day looks around, including a dreamy red velvet blazer, stunning bolo ties, and even the sleekest white sneakers (!!!).

We’re so excited to see all the new levels our grooms our bound to take their style to this season, cheers to doing the damn thing in style!!!

It finally Valentine’s Day and, for us, saying that its one of our favorite holidays is a huge understatement. We ADORE this day and how everyone celebrates the people that they love the most! We are so lucky to have a job that lets us not only hang with the cutest couples, but allows us to witness love on a regular basis!
