Howie + Arin, a Quintessential Santa Fe Plaza Wedding

Newlyweds Arin and Howie radiated joy all day long on their sunny, spring day in May. These angels celebrated their new chapter together with the ever-beloved La Fonda on the Plaza as the most stunning backdrop.

The precursor to these cuties’ perfect wedding day began several years ago with a Bumble match while both were living in Seattle. After realizing that they had found their forever love in one another, Howie planned the most thoughtful, lovely proposal for Arin. They had plans to visit their favorite winery on Marrowstone Island for Arin’s birthday and Howie used this as the perfect excuse to propose (he even had family fly in from Oklahoma and California for the occasion!). After a long COVID-related closure of the winery’s art gallery, Howie coaxed Arin to come take a peek at the stunning space. Upon entering, she was met with flowers, candles, and a romantic proposal among beautiful paintings, two of which they took home as keepsakes. As Arin and Howie were walking hand-in-hand out of the winery, they happened to hear one of their favorite songs playing through the speakers, making this proposal perhaps one of the most kismet moments in time.

Fast forward to their wedding, Arin and Howie decided to seal the deal at La Fonda on the Plaza in Santa Fe due to its charming, bohemian energy. These angels filled their wedding day with all things beautiful and sentimental, from their emotional first look to their rooftop ceremony to their little adventure around the plaza for golden hour romantics. After the most stunning day, Arin and Howie were greeted with pure joy and excitement from their loved ones during their reception. These two finished off this momentous occasion by dancing the night away with their precious flower girls, friends, and closest family members. Being able to witness Arin and Howie basking in that newly married love was truly the icing on cake for this sweet spring day.

Michael + Erika, a Windswept Ghost Ranch Wedding

It may have been the brightest, windiest spring day of all, but lovers Erika and Michael still pulled off one of the most stunning weddings we’ve ever seen. These babes made it official way out at Ghost Ranch and just trust us when we say it was one for the books!

Long before they were celebrating in the Southwest with all of their loved ones, Michael and Erika first met on Tinder in 2019 (or in their words they “found love in a hopeless place”). Their connection was undeniable from the very beginning and both of these cuties say that they have never felt a connection so tangible and genuine before (swoon). Michael proposed to Erika at Ghost Ranch in the fall of 2021 and they decided that this special location would also be the most picturesque place to make their love official.

Fast forward to April of 2022 and these lovebirds finally got to have their dreamy little wedding day. For their epic day, Erika and Michael chose vendors that not only create incredible work, but are also amazing humans. Our angel Melissa at Renegade Floral created some of the most breathtaking details we’ve ever witnessed, from the bridal bouquet to the floral arch to the centerpieces, everyone was truly blown away by all of the floral goodness. And if that wasn’t enough, Erika wore the most perfectly rustic, yet modern Pronovias gown from our babes at The Dressing Room West and paired her look with cowboy boots and the most beautiful engagement ring by Native American jeweler Keri Ataumbi.

Michael and Erika also paid special detail to making sure that all of their guests had an amazing experience so they included super personal details into their celebration, like the record player that guests could pick vinyls to listen to before the ceremony. They even had Dig and Serve whip up the most amazing food and drinks (they also brought that incredibly cozy tent for guests to hang out in!). After their emotional ceremony at Ghost Ranch, Erika and Michael took the party to downtown Santa Fe for an intimate dinner at La Boca and a tiny adventure around the plaza just in time for some golden hour romantics.

We were so dang thrilled to witness this amazing adventure of a day, cheers to love in the most unexpected places!!!

Chris + Lauren, a Heavenly Las Vegas Wedding at The Neon Museum

Every single season we get to capture some of the most magical days ever, but when fellow wedding vendor Lauren, who also happens to be one of the most angelic humans on earth asked us to photograph her dream day in Las Vegas we knew it would be a celebration for the ages.

Chris and Lauren first met many moons ago, yet from the very start, they knew their connection was beyond special. Over the years, these hunnies’ love for one another and for all of their shared passions grew, from traveling to loving on their sweet fur baby, Señor, to spending their weekends together (even if it included working on dreamy wedding days for Lauren’s business, Just Lovely Weddings). Finally, this little fairytale was topped off when Chris proposed to Lauren with the dreamiest ring we’ve ever laid eyes on.

These lovers knew that Las Vegas, one of their favorite places to travel to, would be the most magical place to say “ I do” and started planning the most gorgeous wedding of all time. Lauren and Chris wanted to include all of their favorite Sin City spots, from The Neon Museum to the Plaza Hotel to the Vegas Strip and damn, did they do the most flawless job creating a perfectly unforgettable day. By making sure that every single moment of their sweet February day encompassed so many personal and intentional details, Lauren and Chris brought an unbelievable amount of joy, honesty, and endearment to all of their loved ones in attendance.

We could go on forever about how the perfect Lauren’s bridal glam was (because she was absolutely angelic from head to toe) or how astonishing their vows at The Neon Museum were to witness (everyone was in tears!) or even how starstruck we were by the vintage Cadillac Lauren and Chris got to cruise around in (it was unreal!), but what made this day so special was how palpable the love between these two souls really is. As Lauren said so perfectly in her vows to Chris, “being with you is like listening to all of my favorite songs at the same time”, and this weekend was really like watching a film with the most impeccable playlist. The Las Vegas Strip might have roughly 12,000,000 lights, but the love felt on this day shone even brighter, and that is truly the most incredible part of it all.

Cheers to making it official in the most dazzling locations, we’ll cherish this day with Lauren + Chris forever and ever.

Jake + Becky, a Magical Ghost Ranch Wedding

Jake and Becky’s long awaited wedding at Ghost Ranch was an incredible celebration that we’ll truly never forget. These Austin angels brought the best of everything Southwestern glam to northern New Mexico for the most dreamy June day.

Many years before they became husband and wife, Jake and Becky first met in college at The University of Kansas. These two ended up sitting next to each other on their first day of college in a 1000 person lecture hall and have been inseparable ever since. Years later, Jake proposed to Becky with on the prettiest evening with their sweet pup Millie at Ziller Park in her hometown of Austin, TX. These cuties decided that Ghost Ranch was the perfect place to tie the knot after they had both spent lots of time in New Mexico together.

After planning (and then re-planning thanks to covid), Jake and Becky were finally able to start their next chapter together in The Land of Enchantment surrounded by all of their friends and family. They decided to use the colors of the desert and the beautiful expansiveness of Ghost Ranch shape their day. For their ceremony, these lovebirds chose Pot’s Hollow, a secluded area filled with cottonwood trees, to make their “I dos” extra romantic. After making it last name official, we got to roam around this mystical Southwestern landscape for the portraits of our dreams. To top it all off, our design and planning queen Just Lovely Weddings created the most beautiful reception tent filled with soft boho details, dreamy florals by Viva Flora, and the most magical atmosphere to party the night away

Herbie + Kelsey, a Texas Hill Country Wedding at Ginger Ranch

Despite all of the ups and downs of 2020, sweethearts Herbie and Kelsey knew that they wanted to tie the knot no matter what came their way. They pulled off one of the most gorgeous, elegant, and perfectly intimate weddings we’ve ever laid on eyes on and we know that we struck gold with this magical Texas Hill Country day.

Long before they decided to make it a forever thing, Herbie and Kelsey were classmates at Farnsworth Middle School in Albany, NY where they not only became good friends, but they were part of an even bigger group of friends that would stay close for years to come (and some of those old friends were even at their wedding). Many years later in 2017, after life had taken them in separate directions, Kelsey, who was working on her PhD at Rutgers University in New Jersey, had an opportunity to to present her research at Texas A&M. While on her trip to Texas, Kelsey decided to reach out to Herbie who had recently moved to San Antonio for a new job and the two immediately hit it off. The way Herbie and Kelsey went from childhood friends to soulmates all in a few short decades pulls on our heartstrings so dang much.

A few years later in 2019, with a little help from their cat Teddy, Herbie popped the question right before a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Kelsey, who was completely surprised, said yes and these two began planning their next new chapter together.

After 2020 stopped them from their original wedding plans, Herbie and Kelsey decided to bring their celebration to Fredericksburg for the most divine October wedding. Every last detail about their day was perfection, from Kelsey’s three (!!!!!) modern, yet elegant bridal looks to timelessly beautiful florals and decor to the constant sense of love all around these two, we were blown away by this sweet Texas day. Seeing Herbie and Kelsey’s devotion and admiration for each other on their big day was not only incredibly inspiring, but it was deeply moving for us. These babes might be young, but we know their love is of a deeply profound and rare variety.

Cheers to the Goldensteins, we’re so thankful for this day with Herbie and Kelsey, here’s so many more years of pure joy and love.
