Photo Guide

This is not the standard shot list you find online (as per our contract, we do not work off photo shot lists), this is more of a refined guide, so very specific details of your day that might be missed or certain guests that are super important to you that is again, outside of the usual wedding list. 

For example, "a posed shot of the father of the bride's family traveling from out of state (best man is aware to help gather the family for this shot)", or an heirloom detail that is a part of your day, law school buddy shot, etc.

No need to list things like: "bride with bride’s family, bride with mom, etc." but more so the very unique groupings we may NOT know to get.

Also, please list any sensitive family dynamics that we need to be made aware of, for example, "don't place ___ next to ___ during family portraits", or "no need to ask for a couples photo of FOB and MOB, as they are no longer together", or "please no mention of FOB".

If your location is a private residence, or if you have specific locations you'd like parts of the day covered at, please include this in your photo guide list. 

Lastly, prior to your wedding day, please have your planner or day of contact present or an assigned wedding party/guest/family friend who is familiar with your photo list groupings that can easily identify family members to help gather the people requested. If this is left to the photography team, please expect this to cut into or allocated photo time and delay/lengthen the photo process. For this reason, we like to keep the photo guide small and, on average at about 5-8 groupings.
