Longtime lovers Vanessa and David came into our lives several years ago with their incredible, late summer wedding in the heart of Albuquerque. Now nearly a decade later we got to photograph their sweet little family and it was truly a dream.
These hunnies and their little story are a true testament to love withstanding all in life. We can’t wait to see what David, Vanessa, and their adorable kids accomplish next!

Courtney + Chance, an Enchanting Desert Engagement
Long-time sweethearts Chance and Courtney are about to make their love just a little official this fall with a dreamy New Mexico wedding, but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to hang out with these love birds on the most serene winter evening. We adore these cuties and the love their share for each other.
Courtney and Chance first met through mutual friends almost eight years ago while both were students at The University of New Mexico. A few years after meeting, these hunnies moved out to the Bay Area with their pup Noodles, but eventually returned to their home state of New Mexico in 2022. Chance proposed while they were on vacation in the United Kingdom during a surprise tea date in London. And to make their moment even sweeter, all of their closest family and friends had arrived to help them celebrate.
We can’t wait to see these angels become husband and wife later on this year in the heart of Albuquerque at National Hispanic Cultural Center.

Wedding Inspo - Heavenly Spring Florals
With plants starting to bloom and warm weather on the way, spring is truly right around the corner for our upcoming weddings. We adore seeing all of the lush spring details, but perhaps nothing can truly outshine divine florals.
From the soft, pastel hues to the stunningly classic arrangements, florals in the springtime can truly crown an entire wedding day. Nothing quite makes us well like our wedding season is in full swing until we get to see these beautiful blossoms, we simply cannot wait for it all!

Bri + Ben, an Adventurous Ghost Ranch Engagement
Hailing from The Lone Star State, babes Bri and Ben traveled all the way to Ghost Ranch for an unreal winter engagement at one of the most mystical places in all of the Southwest. These cuties made New Mexico extra enchanting on this little January evening.
Ben and Bri first met on Bumble almost five years ago while both of them were living in Houston and even though they took things slow at first, these cuties realized how one-of-kind their connection was when they attended a destination wedding as plus ones. Roughly a year after meeting, Ben moved to Austin and even though these lovers survived one year of long distance, they knew they couldn’t be apart long term, so Bri soon made the move to Austin as well. Now a few years down the road, these cuties are living it up in ATX with their pups Birdie and Blue.
Ben proposed to Bri on a mini hike to Mount Bonnell on the most perfect Saturday morning and she, of course, said yes. These babes are planning the most romantic, intimate Santa Fe at La Posada this fall and we know it’ll be the dreamiest start to newlywed life.

Behind the Scenes with Alicia Lucia Photography
As our 2024 wedding season begins to kick off, we just had to share some of our favorite team moments from last season. We adored every last second of the 2023 season and still can’t get it off of our minds.
From the Pacific Northwest to New Orleans and all the way back to the Southwest, our 2023 weddings were beyond our wildest dreams in terms of not only destinations, but also the lovers we got to fall for along the way.
We already know this year will be one for the books, cheers to all of the adventures that lay ahead!

Estelle + Trevor, a Bewitching New Orleans Wedding
When Kentucky hunnies Trevor and Estelle asked us to be a tiny part of their epic wedding in the heart of New Orleans, we just knew that this Big Easy celebration would be one for the books. These unreal babes’ indescribable joy and love for one another shone so bright on their colorful November day, we’re still reeling from it all!
Estelle and Trevor might not live in Louisiana, but their deep love for all the unique elements Nola has to offer made choosing their wedding destination an absolute breeze. And, in addition to one of the greatest little cities in the world, these lovers made their historic wedding locations, the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum and the Omni Royal Orleans, stars of the show. Estelle and Trevor also made all of the personal details of their day even more unique: from rainbow-hued florals to a second line band to an after party on Bourbon Street, these hunnies sure know how to throw a PARTY.
We’re not quite sure how this divine French Quarter day can truly ever be topped, but until we return to Nola, we’ll be right here drooling over The Cheslers!

Kate + Andy, a Joyful Old Town Engagement
We kicked part of our January engagement season with sweethearts Kate and Andy in the middle of precious Old Town Albuquerque and it was beyond joyful and so dang special. These two are truly the epitome of soulmates and we’re so over the moon for them.
When cuties Andy and Kate first met at a Halloween party in Brooklyn, NY just a few short years ago, they knew their connection was absolutely unreal. They immediately bonded over their mutual loves for people watching in the city and the insanely funny ig account @subwaycreatures. Soon after, they two decided to take their love to new heights with a proposal and their wedding at Indian Pueblo Cultural Center this summer which is sure to be a showstopper.

Lauren + Michael, a Spellbinding Stakeout Taos Wedding
We entered our late fall wedding season in the dreamiest of ways with sweethearts Michael and Lauren. These angels’ magical day up in Taos is one that we simply cannot stop thinking about, it was truly a vision from start to finish.
These hunnies first met several years ago in medical school and the universe aligned for them in the most perfect of ways when both Lauren and Michael matched at the exact same residency. Now in a darling new chapter of their lives in the Midwest (with their pup along for the ride!) these lovebirds knew that a wedding in Lauren’s home state of New Mexico would be the most epic way to kick off their marriage.
Lauren and Michael wanted a wedding that would feel like a destination celebration while still being in The Land of Enchantment, so ever-divine Stakeout Taos was the most heavenly location. From their moody fall wedding florals to chic wedding style to lots of traditions from both of their families, Michael and Lauren’s day was filled with unforgettable details. And if the little touches weren’t enough these two and their love shone so brightly through their gentle first look, emotion ceremony, breathtaking romantics, and next-level reception.
