Charlotte + Jacob, a Hacienda Vargas Elopement

Over the summer we had the honor of photographing this darling elopement. Over a candlelit, intimate ceremony done at the historic Hacienda Vargas adobe chapel, Charlotte and Jacob traveled all the way from the east coast to join together in holy matrimony. Together with their precious daughter, we had a blast adventuring and taking their beautiful portraits!

When thinking back on the beauty that was the Schumacher wedding, there are simply not enough words in the world to adequately narrate the love, joy and euphoria that was in abundance that day. Kayla couldn't stop smiling. And Austin, well, lets just say there were definitely a few happy tears shed (see first look photos below)! From their color pallet, all the details, to the lush florals, , and guys.. can we just talk about that to.die.for Haley Page Remmington Gown!! Austin and Kayla's wedding was a truly a dream!

A Four Seasons Santa Fe Surprise Proposal

Phil first reached out to us earlier in the year and shared with us his exciting plans of proposing to his life long sweetheart, Kayla. Now planning a surprise proposal, let alone planning one from out of the state was not an easy feat but he knew that Santa Fe had a special place in Kayla's heart and he was determined to make it happen! With the help of the great team at The Four Seasons - Rancho Encantado, Phil got down on one knee and Kayla said YES to the man of her dreams.

Thank you Phil (& sweet Kayla) for trusting me with your momentous day! Cheers to you both and HAPPY wedding planning!

Miguel & Laurene | an Old Pecos Trail wedding | Santa Fe Wedding Photography | Santa Fe, New Mexico

I'm beaming with excitement and so happy to share with you all Miguel & Laurene's beautiful day! It was my last wedding of 2014 and the absolute loveliest DIY, New Mexican, fairytale themed wedding!

From the spanish decor incorporating bean filled centerpieces (so darling), papel picado banderitas (mexican cut-out flags) to Laurene's succulent infused bouquet (100% made by the bride & her maids), yet all these sweet touches were COMPLETLY out shined by Laurene's radiant smile every time her handsome groom would look over at her.... It was truly the most perfect blend of celebrating their love and honoring their culture & roots.

They exchanged the most deepest, sweetest vows and danced the night away with their closest friends and family. It was the greatest privilege to document their love story -- cheers to you Miguel & Laurene, I wish you many, many years of continued love & bliss!! <3

And a big thanks to my wonderful second shooter: Caitlin of Caitlin Elizabeth Photography

I vow to see you in the light and likeness of God. To honor, support, and respect you each and every day. To trust and confide in you, unafraid to be my most vulnerable self in your presence. To accept you just as the Lord made you, the beautiful wonderful man that you are. To stand by you on the brightest of days and the darkest of nights. No matter what life brings, we will see it through. I promise to celebrate us each and every day. We made it.
