As April rolls right into May, we can’t help but be the most excited for all of the upcoming spring celebrations and new chapters, especially graduations. When we first starting photography over a decade ago, senior portraits were a key to our success and reach in the community and these little sessions still hold the biggest part of our hearts.
We joined angel Anacelli at otherworldly Casa Rondeña Winery for one of the most breathtaking senior sessions ever. This incredible girl was serving major Jenna Ortega meets Selena Gomez vibes and we are so freaking here for it. From roaming around the expansive grounds to taking in all of the European-inspired architecture, this afternoon was one of our favorites ever.
Cheers to all of the graduates embarking on bigger adventures this spring, we’re so dang excited for you all!

Wedding Inspo - Dreamy Bouquets
If there’s one thing we’re smitten with every single wedding day, its bouquets. We’ve seen some of the dreamiest little floral beauties of all time and, dang, are they forever on our minds.
Whether they’re little and minimalist, big and bold, or a delicate balance of both, bouquets of all sizes have our hearts. From the classic all-white creations to the vibrant modern designs, bouquets never fail to be breathtakingly timeless.
This season is sure to bring even more bouquets for us to fall in love with, but for now we’re still reveling in some many of the stunners from the past.

Wedding Inspo - Elopements We Love
Even though huge weddings will always be the biggest part of our lives, our hearts always yearn for even more elopements. These special little days always manage to take us to the dreamiest locations with the most intentional, sweet couples on earth.
From the tiniest Taos inn to the most historic garden-district spot in New Orleans to the endless dunes of White Sands National Park, the locations we’ve ventured to for elopements have continually exceeded our wildest daydreams. We love when couples decide to get hitched in their own special way and on their own terms. Whether they go all out with attire and florals or keep it casual, yet fun, our couples always know just what makes their weddings special to them.
We have a few dreamy elopements on the horizon for 2023 and we can’t freaking wait to capture all of the love!

Alanna + James, an Emotional Casa Rondeña Elopement
Over the years, we’ve always held the biggest place in our hearts for sweet angel Alanna of Betty Rose by Alanna, so when she asked us to capture her nuptials we were truly on cloud nine. Alanna and her love, James, are truly some of the most incredible people with a gentle, beautiful love story that we can’t get out of our heads.
James and Alanna met many moons ago while both working at a surgery center in Albuquerque. James’ bright energy and sweet demeanor caught Alanna’s eye, however, both of these cuties were already in relationships. About four years later, after both of them had gone through devastating breakups, James asked Alanna out on a date and they immediately knew their connection was written in the stars. Alanna, who had never envisioned herself as a stepmom, was instantly taken with James’ sweet kids and fully embraced her new, exciting role in life. Several years down the road, James surprised Alanna by proposing to her on the plot of land they were currently building their forever home on.
Instead of having a big wedding, these angels opted for a very intimate afternoon with just their family present. Alanna, who’s had her fair share of big wedding days while working as a professional makeup artist in the wedding industry, wanted their day to be simple, calm, and true to her’s and James’ love story. After getting ready with some of her closest girls (including her little bestie/stepdaughter, Scarlett), Alanna met up with James and the rest of their loved ones at Casa Rondeña for the most divine evening. We got a front row seat to all of Alanna and James’ sweetness as these lovebirds roamed around, fully immersed in their newlywed bliss. Being able to bear witness to such a genuine, deep love was beyond anything we could have planned for this little day.
Cheers to love that defies all the odds and to the lovers who continually make us the biggest fans of happily-ever-afters.

Mani + Liz, a Captivating Casa Rondeña Wedding
On the most glorious April afternoon, Mani and Liz made it official with a stunning spring wedding. These sweethearts bring so much love and light into this world, capturing their day was truly such a gift for us.
These hunnies first started off as co-workers and eventually friends for almost five years before Mani asked Liz out on a date, right before the entire world shut down in early 2020. Over the course of the pandemic, these lovers’ relationship flourished day-by-day as they spent time together cooking, drinking wine, and taking long peaceful walks along the Bosque. Soon enough, Liz and Mani knew their love was the real deal and once the world opened up again, Mani proposed right before a performance of The Marriage of Figaro at the Santa Fe Opera. Liz had no idea that Mani had been shopping for rings leaving her truly beyond overjoyed and so dang excited.
Mani and Liz knew that they wanted to incorporate so many of their favorite things into their day including wine, jazz music, amazing food, and their closest loved ones. They opted for a ceremony at the ever quaint Casa Rondeña Winery and a joyful reception at their home. Everything about these cuties’ day was beyond heartfelt and intentional, we adored the way they included so many of their friends and family in every aspect of their day, from officiating their ceremony to making their cake to playing so many of their favorite songs. From the first moment we met Mani and Liz, we knew their love was special, but their gorgeous day showed us just how one in a million these lovers truly are.
Cheers to always finding a way to back to love and for celebrating it in the most beautiful of ways!

Maddie + Brendan, A Casa Rondena Wedding // Casa Rondena Winery // Los Ranchos, New Mexico
Light rain and a whole lotta love were found at Maddie and Brendan's spectacular wedding celebration. Nestled in the timeless, and insanely beautiful Los Ranchos Winery, Casa Rondena was the perfect backdrop for their classic old-hollywood wedding. Even though the ceremony was moved inside due to the rain, Brendan and Maddie exchanged their trueset and deepest vows, with their closest friends and family circling all around them. The rain didn't stand a chance!
Brendan and Maddie, getting the opportunity to meet and know both of you and your families was such a delight... The sincere vows you proclaimed to each other absolutely took my breath away.. thank you for letting me share in your most intimate, beautiful day!

Fatima | Regal Chic Vineyard Bridal Shoot | Casa Rondena | Albuquerque, NM Photography
A couple weeks ago, some of Albuquerque's most lovely and talented vendors got together and created absolute magic. The inspiration came from the timeless trend of illusion lace wedding gowns seen on the runway this season (also seen on Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian). It was a dream to photograph such a stunning, one of kind piece designed by Jasmine Bridal.
The dress, stunning Fatima, enchanting florals, out of this world beautiful diamonds, then adding a twist of classic yet bold bridal hair & makeup, plus the ever so gorgeous vineyard we shot at and the outcome is absolutely majestic.
