We absolutely adored our time with Loren + Julia this fall. Not only did they incorporate some gorgeous florals into their engagement session, but we managed to capture some amazing shots of these lovers with the Sandia mountains. We are so excited for their wedding at Four Seasons Rancho Encantado Santa Fe wedding next September!

I sincerely love engagement sessions. Especially with couples who are head over heels in love, down for any adventure and not afraid to get a little dirty! Kayla and Austin were no exception and were such a dream to work with. They didn't hesitate when asked to walk through the tall grass, weeds + cactus, they hiked up hills, and braved all the different desert elements. Not only did they travel from out of the state and set aside the time to get their engagement photos done, but they put all their trust in me and gave me the creative freedom to do my thing.
Ask any creative entrepreneur out there, that has got to be the. best. feeling. ever.
We explored one of my favorite, most coveted trails just outside of Albuquerque and got to know each other better. I love hearing all about my couples love for each other, and their wedding plans so far. I can't wait for their La Fonda/Coyote Cafe wedding in Santa Fe in a couple months.. Peter and Jacquelyn's beautiful Hyatt Tamaya Resort wedding was on a perfect Saturday, September afternoon! Jacquelyn is one the absolute sweetest brides i've ever met and Peter is as equally amazing, so it was no surprise that their wedding was a darling celebration. During their reception, they honored their Polish roots with the sharing of the bread, an old Polish tradition. Their parents welcomed the newlyweds by presenting them with this blessed bread!
It was such a sweet wedding and I was honored to be a part of their special day! Congratulations to Peter and Jacquelyn, have a blast in Hawaii!

The most perfect day, from start to finish. Both Zach & Megan were cool, calm and collected -- you could hardly tell they were about to embark on the biggest day of their lives.
When I met them early this year, they both shared how important it was to them to have the different elements of mother nature surrounding them, and getting married at the Bosque School couldn't have encapsulated the beauty of mother nature better. Between the cottonwood trees, the changing leaves, and incorporating so much natural beauty into the wedding (lavender bouquet, pumpkin center pieces, etc.), it was simply lovely!
On top of Zach and Megan's sweet first look reveal and exchanging heartfelt vows, they also honored passed loved ones by having a moment of silence and lifting off balloons with the names of loved ones who couldn't be at the wedding. It was extremely touching and thoughtful, and it was hard holding back tears.
Zach and Megan, it's been delightful getting to know you guys this past year and i'm so honored to have been a part of the biggest day of your lives!!

Meet Jacquelyn & Peter, both New Jersey transplants living in the beautiful Land Of Enchantment. We traveled up to the foothills for their engagement session where I learned more about their love! I'm obsessing over all the fun touches about this session. Firstly, Jacquelyn made, yes handmade her gorgeous tulle skirt while her mother crafted the beautiful oversized red rose! All so fun and complimenting to the different elements of the foot hills. I'm excited to get to know this sweet couple this next year and of course ecstatic to photograph their beautiful 2015 wedding!

A beautiful preview of the most darling couple, Bud & Rebecca. It has been the greatest joy getting to know these two over the past year, and capturing their love on the most beautiful day of their lives, was truly an honor! Their sweet wedding ceremony was held at the charming Cleveland Roller Mill Museum --- followed by dinner & dancing (and boy was there dancing, thanks to the live Yarbrough Band) at the Historic Plaza Hotel.
I can't wait to see what the future holds for them --- I know that the fun has just begun!! Happy honeymoon you two!

It was a perfect day with just the right amount of sunlight for the lovely wedding of Charles & Alissa. The beauty and joy poured from every detail of their gorgeous day. From their touching "First Look" reveal, to their amazing vows, the sweet rose ceremony they did to honor both of their mothers, down to the hilarious surprise from the Best Man, during the ring ceremony! It was certainly a joyous day.

A couple weeks ago, some of Albuquerque's most lovely and talented vendors got together and created absolute magic. The inspiration came from the timeless trend of illusion lace wedding gowns seen on the runway this season (also seen on Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian). It was a dream to photograph such a stunning, one of kind piece designed by Jasmine Bridal.
The dress, stunning Fatima, enchanting florals, out of this world beautiful diamonds, then adding a twist of classic yet bold bridal hair & makeup, plus the ever so gorgeous vineyard we shot at and the outcome is absolutely majestic.

From the second I met these two, I knew that their love was true. During my initial consultation with Jonas & Ivana, I couldn't help but MARVEL at their attraction and sincere love they have for each other. The way Ivana looked to Jonas after every question, their sweet embraces and how they held hands the.entire.time. Seriously, how cute are they? I just knew their engagement session would be so fun to capture but I couldn't dream that it was going to be this stunning! I can't wait for their wedding later this year!

April showers truly brought May flowers.. After a couple weeks of wind & rain, the weather could not have been more perfect for the joyous wedding of Amy & Lucas. It was the most beautiful day in May so far. Along with the perfect weather was the perfect bride... Amy absolutely glistened the.entire.day. The internal love that she has for Lucas just poured out of her... And along with that radiating smile, her gorgeous gown from Ann Matthews, stunning bouquet by Peoples flowers down to the most perfect bridal makeup by The Pretty Committee, it was seriously difficult for anyone to not admire her beauty as a blushing bride.
The dynamic emotions shared throughout the day were sincerely remarkable. It is always touching to see and capture groom's showing their truest sentiments on the day of their wedding, but the moment when Lucas got a first glance of the love of his life walking down the aisle & just absolutely broke down, there was honestly no dry eye in sight.
Thank you Amy & Lucas for the opportunity of capturing you on your most beautiful day. The love you both share, dazzles everyone around you & I know 50 years from now you will continue to inspire us with your dedicated commitment and love for each other.
