Longtime lovers Vanessa and David came into our lives several years ago with their incredible, late summer wedding in the heart of Albuquerque. Now nearly a decade later we got to photograph their sweet little family and it was truly a dream.
These hunnies and their little story are a true testament to love withstanding all in life. We can’t wait to see what David, Vanessa, and their adorable kids accomplish next!

Kristopher + Jennifer, an Exquisite New Mexico Wedding
We spent the most heavenly August day with sweethearts Jennifer and Kristopher for a wedding that was truly out of this world. The way these two love each and everyone around them other will never ever be forgotten by our little team.
These cuties knew that they wanted to celebrate their love in a place that was near and dear to them, so New Mexico was the dreamiest location. For Kris and Jen, Tamaya’s stunning views of both the iconic Sandia Mountains and the desert landscape was the most magical choice. This stunning affair was kicked off with not only some of the most sparkling details and unreal bridal looks (just peep Jen’s ethereal gloves and gown), but with one of the most heartfelt little first looks of all time. While leaning into an effortlessly modern, yet colorful theme, Kris and Jen also brought out some of the most incredible floral touches and details for both their ceremony and reception, making this affair one to remember. And to top off a day filled with magic, these lovers got to sneak off with us for some of the prettiest blue hour portraits in the middle of the desert.
Cheers to a once in a lifetime kind of love and celebrating it in the most phenomenal of ways. We heart the Tillerys forever and ever!

Jessa + Matthew, a Sublime Bishop's Lodge Wedding
Upon returning to one of the most heavenly places in New Mexico, Bishop’s Lodge, we felt so lucky to capture the most serene July days with lovers Jessa and Matthew. This elegant, yet modern affair was truly a show-stopper from beginning to end.
These little angels first crossed paths back in 2018 and immediately bonded over their love for animals, breweries, and careers in the medical field. Five years after building their sweet life together in New Mexico (along with their fur babies) Matthew proposed to Jessa during their hike to Nambe Lake in Santa Fe.
Knowing that they wanted their nuptials to be filled with refined, yet unique touches Matthew and Jessa almost instantly decided that Bishop’s Lodge would be the most incredible setting to make their love official. Alongside side soft florals, divine bridal style, and stellar views, these sweethearts finally said “ I do”. Following their dreamy ceremony Jessa and Matthew treated their guests to a sophisticated garden cocktail hour and endlessly fun reception.
We know that Matthew and Jessa are off to have the most incredibly life together, cheers to Los Lovatos!

Jennie + Ike, a Magical Portland Wedding at Crystal Ballroom
On perhaps the most magical day of 2023 yet, Jennie and Ike made it official in the most enchanting Portland affair. These angels brought us along for their extraordinary celebration and its quite possible that we’ll never get over it.
Ike and Jennie first crossed paths about seven years ago through a mutual friends and their electrifying connection was immediate. When there was no denying that they were meant for each other, Ike left behind his life in the Pacific Northwest to move across the country to be with Jennie. Now nearly a decade later these two are even more in love with one another (and their sweet little cat!).
When deciding on where to take their love to the next level, Jennie and Ike wanted to say “I do” in a place that held deep personal meaning and Crystal Ballroom in the heart of Portland fit the bill perfectly. Over the decades, this historic theater has hosted endless musical talent and equally amazing love stories. Ike and Jennie’s sweet little winter soirée honed in on what these angels hold most dear: their friends, their families, and soaking up life to the fullest. From their minimalist, yet divine wedding day attire (just look at Jennie’s Carolina Herrera gown next to Ike’s velvet suit) to their moody and stunning florals by Botanica Floral Design to the absolute party vibes created by Mitch and the Melody Makers for their reception, Jennie and Ike knew exactly how to set the stage for the perfect opening to their new chapter. We loved watching these lovebird steal kisses underneath the neon-lit marquee and dancing the night away with all of their favorite people.
Cheers to making it a forever thing Jennie and Ike, we’ll probably be obsessed with you guys until the end of time.

Wedding Inspo - Winter Weddings + Elopements
The temperature might be getting more and more chilly, but we know that winter weddings and elopements always bring the heat. Even though we don’t capture a ton of cold weather celebrations, the ones that we get to be a part of are so incredibly divine.
Winter nuptials are not only insanely beautiful, they’re also deeply serene. From the cozy, romantic little moments to the way this time of year just ushers in those quiet, intimate gatherings, weddings in the coldest part of the year are beyond enchanting.
Keeping our fingers crossed for even more of these magical days in the future, we’re forever in love with celebrations of love in the middle of winter.

2020 - Moments with Alicia Lucia Photography
2020 was by far one of the most challenging years our team has ever faced, yet through all the difficult descisons and make-or-break moments, we still found the light on the other side of it all.
After an intense global pandemic forced our weddings and shoots to a screeching halt, we weren’t sure what to do, but somehow we found a new path and gained a better perspective on our lives, our business, and our community. We found new ways to capture weddings/elopements and support our couples as they navigated this insane year. And we also found even more opportunities to create beauty through styled shoots and portrait sessions. If one thing is sure, 2020 reminded us of why we set out to do what we do in the first place: love. Watching love win over and over and over again this year, despite all of the odds was something to behold. And we once again fell in love with with what we have the immense privilege of doing, capturing those undeniably beautiful moments of pure joy.
The biggest thank you from the bottom of our hearts goes out to every single couple, family, and individual who continually put their trust in us during a year where everything was uncertain, yet everything mattered even more. And to all of our vendor friends, thank you for riding this one out with us, we’ve never had so much faith in the wedding community as we do right here and now.
No year will ever be quite like 2020, and while we’re grateful to see beacons of hope at start of the new year, we’re forever be grateful for the year that gave us all a chance to start anew and to believe in the magic that is love.

On the Oregon Coast, Magical Elopements on Cannon Beach
Once in awhile we get to journey to some of the most magical places in the universe and our trip to the Oregon Coast was beyond our wildest dreams. We got to hang with not one, but two insanely beautiful couples and lets just say it was next-freaking-level.
For these two styled elopements, we traveled to Cannon Beach, aka heaven, for an absolutely dazzling day created by our sweet friend Taylor of Traveling Weddings with Taylor. That misty coastline made for easily one of the most sublime backdrops we’ve ever beheld. Our couples, TJ + Maegan and Anthony + Bailey, were so captivating, we’re pretty sure every single photo of them was perfection. On top of having these outstandingly gorgeous lovers, dress queen Hannah Tikkanen created two immaculate gowns that we’re still 1000% smitten with and we’ll probably never get over them. From running on the beach, to dancing in the ocean, to sharing kisses under the Pacific Northwest sky, all of the love we witnessed was truly unforgettable.
And if all of that astonishing beauty wasn’t enough, the most remarkable team of Oregon vendors brought some impeccable elopement dreams to life. From Noble Florals’ heavenly bouquets to Sweet Sentimentality’s delicate invitation suite to Party Place Portland’s exquisite table design, every inch of this day was astonishing.
Cannon Beach, you have our hearts and we’re beyond obsessed with you. We can’t wait to be back at this ethereal place soon, but until then, we’ll be over here daydreaming about this unreal day.

Wedding Inspo - Groom Style Third Edition
While its true that we have a huge affinity for stellar bridal style on the blog, we can’t help but share a little bit of love with our stylish, dapper, and downright handsome grooms! Not only are these guys total on-camera knockouts, they’re also some of the kindest, most personable dudes you could ever ask for on wedding days!
We love a sleek, traditional black suit or tux, so how do grooms elevate this classic style? Our grooms have tapped into everything, from incorporating Southwestern flair with bolo ties or designer cowboy boots to adding personal touches like a cool pair of sunglasses or a surprise pop of color in their boutonniere or suit jacket lining!
And we’ve had plenty of grooms chose other colors for their wedding days suits as well including blue, grey, tan, and even mix-and-match colors! We’ve loved seeing how these guys dressed up colors other than black for their big day and adored seeing so many unique details including ties with tiny prints on them (from polka dots to florals) to broaches (instead of a traditional bow tie or tie) to opting for unique textures like wool.
Last season we saw an incredible variety of groom style and honestly we’re thrilled to see what our next guys have in store for us, we’re crossing our fingers for a few extra daring grooms with non-traditional suit colors! Until then, take a look at these wedding day hunks, we had the best time capturing each one of these wedding day hubbies!
