Engagement Inspo - Old Town Albuquerque

When it comes to engagements, everyone that knows our little team knows how much we just love exploring national parks and beautiful nature reserves around our sweet little Southwestern state, but we never say know to an engagement session in Old Town Albuquerque. Decked out with the coolest adobe buildings, subtle New Mexican details, and plenty of unique charm, this special little part of Albuquerque always gets us in our feels. If you’re looking for a cozy spot for your engagement session without going into the wilderness, Old Town might just be the perfect fit.

Jason + Ryan, an Old Town Engagement

Jason and Ryan have been together for 4 years, and engaged for 3 months, but they initially met at a meditation center a few years ago. Ryan told us that despite their age, these lovers feel so young at heart together. They’ll tie the knot this fall at our favorite hidden gem, Ghost Ranch, right outside of Santa Fe.

Valentine's Day Special - Our Fave Romantics

It finally Valentine’s Day and, for us, saying that its one of our favorite holidays is a huge understatement. We ADORE this day and how everyone celebrates the people that they love the most! We are so lucky to have a job that lets us not only hang with the cutest couples, but allows us to witness love on a regular basis! We seriously wish we could put every single romantic on this blog, but we rounded up a few of our standouts from the last few years to give everyone a little taste! We hope you spent today feeling loved and spreading love!!!

Fave Weddings - Jaclyn's Picks

Finishing off our team wedding picks is our Social Media Manager Jaclyn with some of her fave, most swooning worthy moments.

“Its honestly so difficult for me to pinpoint three or four weddings that I love more than all the others because for me its usually a few shots from weddings and engagements that draw me in. Alicia and I always joke about how much I love non-traditional shots so thats exactly what this blog post is full of. Some of the photos are so obviously unique that anyone can see why I adore them, but I’d have to say that each and every photo in this blog made me pause on first glance and they’re photos I continually go back to when curating for social media. Alicia, Ashley, and Bre are sooo beyond talented at capturing love and I’ve spent a whole lot of time curating all of the engagements and weddings that go up on the blog, so narrowing down my faves was insanely hard for me. For me, these photos grab at something beyond just love, they’re authentic and what I envision when I think of how to emulate true love in the real world. I love all of the blogs I’ve put out, but this is by far my favorite.”

Trey + Clara, an Old Town Albuquerque Engagement

Even though they weren’t typical high school sweethearts, Trey and Clara met through mutual friends in their small hometown of Las Cruces, NM. About six years after initially meeting each other, these two ran into each other by chance at a bar during Thanksgiving break and shortly after, Trey asked Clara out on an official date. They went to a local coffee shop called Milagro and Clara said that it was the best two hour date she had ever been on! Trey even visited Clara three days later when she had returned to Durango, CO where she was attending college and ended up meeting her parents for the first time during that trip. Ever since, these lovers have been inseparable.

Next April these total babes will tie the knot in Ruidoso, NM on their family owned property. Their classic, yet rustic wedding will have a special focus on the gorgeous nature of the space! We can’t hardly wait for Trey and Clara’s big day, spring can’t come soon enough!

P.S. can you believe this total babe Clara did her own hair and makeup in the car for this session?!
