Bridal Accessories

There are tons of wedding details that excite us as we finally approach a wedding day. One of the many things we get excited about is the bridal style and all of the bridal details. From southwestern inspired statement jewelry to luxurious fur coats for winter weddings to the classic and clean bridal look, our brides always bring the fire when it comes to accessorizing. We found a few of our favorite veils, clutches, and hair pieces as well because there is seriously a look for every soon to be wifey out there. Whether you’re traditional and simple or modern and boho chic, we’ve included a little something for everyone. We can’t wait to see what details our future brides are going to rock for us to swoon over!

La Posada de Santa Fe, a Venue Feature

If there’s one thing to know about us, it’s that we adore all of the amazing, historically significant wedding venues that help make wonderful backdrops for all the love stories we get to capture! The last few wedding seasons we’ve spent a ton of time in our favorite little city to the north, Santa Fe and it’s chalked full of incredible spots to say “I do”. We wanted to give a little extra love to one of our all time fave spots, La Posada de Santa Fe, a gorgeous site located just off of the famous Santa Fe Plaza.

Besides being worldly acclaimed for its current hotel and resort, La Posada also holds an incredibly rich history dating all the way back to the 1800s. Originally built as a family house by Abraham Staab in 1882 for his wife, Julia, and six children, La Posada served as a hub for the highest of entertainment in Santa Fe. According to local legend, Mrs. Staab adored her home so much that she never left it (in honor of this muse, Julia’s Social Club and Julia - a Spirited Restaurant and Bar at La Posada are famously named after her). Many modern guests and visitors have even claimed to meet the spirit of Julia while visiting and she has been the topic of many ghost tours and TV specials on local hauntings.

La Posada received a facelift in 1930 after R.H. Eulalia Nason added a series of adobe style casitas to the property. During this time period, it served as a summer arts school and La Posada received its current name which is Spanish for ‘inn’ or ‘resting place’. Some sixty years later in 1990, La Posada was converted into the luxury resort that visitors and locals alike both love.

Today, La Posada is a favorite among local and destination brides, with staff and accommodations and go above and beyond to make newlyweds more than satisfied with their celebrations (Shout out to Amanda Gesten and her stellar squad). Need an indoor and outdoor wedding? La Posada’s lawn and ballroom are perfect. Want the perfect New Mexican flair for your wedding? La Posada’s ever famous Conchita the tequila donkey is more than happy to make a guest appearance at your reception. La Posada provides world class catering and hospitality for every wedding, no matter how big or small.

We can’t wait for even more prettiness at this incredible Santa Fe spot, cheers to La Posada for over 100 years of keeping our capital city as enchanting as ever!!!

Walker + Addie, a La Posada de Santa Fe Wedding

In June, we were beyond excited to capture Walker and Addie’s gorgeous, refined, yet wildly romantic wedding at one of our all time favorite locations, La Posada de Santa Fe. These Texas babes met by chance when Walker was first introduced to Addie’s father, Kevin through business connections and who low-key played match maker for his daughter by inviting Walker to Addie’s mother’s gym. It was only a matter of time before sparks flew between these two lovers and they achieved ultimate couple goals with their first unofficial date by meeting up for a casual walk with their dogs Quinn (Addie’s fur baby) and Clooney (Walker’s furry bff).  Soon after, they had their first official date, dinner and a surprise dance lesson,  and the rest is history.

Walker and Addie’s summer wedding was nothing short of an absolutely divine, natural, sage vision. From the amazing white rose adorned floral arch created by Renegade Floral, to Addie’s dreamy Pronovia’s gown paired with delicate lace up Francesco Russo heels, to including Quinn and Clooney in their special day, we had major heart eyes over these sweethearts. We adore you two so much!

Congrats to the Dillies on an unforgettable wedding and on expecting a little one early next year!

Gil + Joanna, a La Posada de Santa Fe Wedding

While from out of state, our sweet couple Gil & Jonna, chose Santa Fe as the perfect place to start the next chapter of their love story! They were wed at La Posada de Santa Fe on a warm August day with an incredibly moving ceremony and a reception for the books! Amid the colorfully eclectic background of Santa Fe, Gil and Joanna paired classic wedding elegance with soft pastel details, sparkling gold bridesmaids dresses, and bold, yet romantic florals.  They even included Conchita the Tequila Donkey, a crowd favorite,  in their celebration!
