We spent the most serene evening with our angel Carolyn, her sweet husband Paul, and their little cutie pie Emmett. This little family truly exemplifies so much of what we adore: endless joy, genuine love, and a deep sense of compassion that can felt be everyone around them.
Even though we first crossed paths with Paul and Carolyn back in 2018, these babes actually met over a decade ago during a fraternity house party. Paul, who’s band was playing during the party, saw Carolyn and immediately made a move to talk to her that evening (even while he was wearing black skinny jeans and a mullet wig). Even though there was a connection, Carolyn had post-celebration plans and left the party shortly after their conversation. As fate would have it, these two ran into each other again about a month later. One evening, Carolyn was out with her friends at a bar and Paul’s band happened to be playing at the exact same bar (talk about the universe wanting these two to hang out). Paul caught Carolyn’s attention by saying her name over the microphone and they’ve been inseparable ever since that moment.
Years later, after getting married and moving to New Mexico, these angels are truly living the dream. From hiking and exploring The Land of Enchantment to soaking up the time they can as a family, Paul and Carolyn have grown together as humans and as life-long partners. They’re set to welcome a second sweet baby into their family and we already know that Emmett is going to be the most amazing big brother to the latest Barrio babe. We captured this amazing little family at Farm and Table on what was perhaps the most stunning summer evening and we may never stop swooning over it.
We’re already over the moon for this angelic little family and their newest addition, cheers to bringing even more love into this world.

Alec + Jenny, an Ethereal Farm and Table Engagement
Just when we thought our spring couldn’t possibly get any more dreamy, Jenny and Alec invited us to capture their beyond stunning engagement session just as New Mexico started to bloom. This sweet little evening at Farm and Table was one we may never stop obsessing over.
We’ve known beautiful Jenny for such a long time, she’s the badass owner of and hairstylist at the iconic Culture Club Salon in Albuquerque, so when she reached to us about being a tiny part of her engagement session, we were truly over the moon. Besides just being an absolute queen and beloved by the entire ALP team, Jenny is also one of the kindest, most genuine humans on earth and we weren’t surprised one bit when her love, Alec, shared those exact same qualities. Together, these two are truly a breathtaking pair and we can’t get over how much joy and love they radiate for one another and everyone around them.
Congrats cuties on the next chapter of forever, we’re so dang happy for you both!!!

2021, a Year with ALP
After the truly life changing year the was 2020, we knew that this year was going to be incredibly special as the world finally opened back up for big weddings and celebrations of all kinds. Our 2021 couples filled our cups to the brim with the must stunning days that we’ll cherish for seasons to come.
If going back to a full wedding season wasn’t exciting enough for us, we were also beyond lucky to travel to so many gorgeous new locations this year. From the vast wine country of Austin to the dreamy mountains of Taos to the ever mystic Ghost Ranch to all the new little spaces in Santa Fe, our scenery was far from the ordinary. On top of this, so many of our couples were finally able to celebrate with all of their friends and family, an experience that we will never take for granted ever again.
Cheers to all the new adventures with the best couples in the most stellar of places, we can’t wait for all that 2022 is sure to bring our way.
