Wedding Inspo - Bridal Sessions

One of the many aspects of weddings that we absolutely adore, and for good reasons, is bridal style. From the stunning gowns to the divine glam to spending a little extra time getting those bridal portraits there’s so much to love. And because of these amazing little details the next best thing for us when it comes to brides are bridal sessions.

Whether its an individual session captured before or after the big day or extra time carved into the actual wedding for the bride to have some solo time in front of the camera, we can’t tell you how special and downright dreamy these sessions are for everyone! We’re lucky enough to capture some of the most beautiful brides in the Southwest and even more fortunate to get to work with so many talented glam teams who just know how to make brides shine from the inside out!

From actual bridal sessions to styled shoots to elopements to big wedding days, so many gorgeous brides have graced our cameras that we couldn’t help but share their beauty on the blog! We love getting to capture bridal sessions in all of their different forms and can’t wait for even more stunners!

Wedding Inspo - Sweetheart Tables

For weddings both big and small, we love any details that can make the day a touch more intimate for our couples, so of course we have a lot of love for precious little sweetheart tables. Seen in both large weddings and even the tiniest of elopements, sweetheart tables let couples steal away a few moments together while still being a part of the celebrations.

While sweetheart tables aren’t seen in every single wedding, they can add a special touch to a couple’s day. They can provide a sense of intimacy among the ongoing festivities as well as a focal point for guests. A sweetheart table can also give a couple or a wedding planner/designer the opportunity to create an additional decorative space that complements the entire wedding day!

We’ve seen these cute little tables decked out in everything from elaborate boho furniture and eye-catching florals to simple and elegant accents. We love getting to see a tiny hint of a couple’s personality with these reception staples.

Scroll through and maybe you’ll find the perfect sweetheart table with just the right accents, we can’t wait to capture more of these darling tables!

Something Ginger, a Bridal Beauty Collective

Every bride knows that on her wedding day she needs a few special touches to make her day that much more special, from something borrowed to something new. But this year, there’s a unique kind of tradition for brides to add to the start of their new chapters, Something Ginger.

Founded by long time gal pals and ultra talented hair and makeup artists, Diana Rose and Kata Baron, Something Ginger is a bridal collective based out of Albuquerque, NM that aims to provide a unique wedding day experience for every bride out there. With a focus on inner and outer beauty paired with a whole lot of fiery girl power and positive vibes, this squad is looking to not only make brides beautiful, but to spread self-love and confidence to every person they cross paths with this year.

We were beyond excited to be a part of this styled shoot at Terese Romero’s dreamy downtown studio for Something Ginger’s launch this past December. Everything element of this bridal session was absolute perfection, from Terese Romero’s iconic black wedding gown to Darling Details’ velvet chair to our model Maria’s natural elegance to, of course, the beauty expertise of Diana and Kata!

These ginger babes are about to bring a whole new energy to New Mexico and beyond, can’t wait to see all the beauty you lovelies create. Cheers to Something Ginger, truly the start of something wonderful!!!

Styled Sunday - a Fall Bridal Session

For this Styled Sunday, we decided to take it back to 2016 for a glam, yet edgy styled bridal session in Santa Fe with the gorgeous Mara Anderson and an incredible team of vendors. This session had sooo many staple details for fall weddings, from a long sleeve gown, to deep/bold florals, to a chic leather jacket. Mixed in with standout pieces were a few whimsical details as well, including macaroons and simple, neutral wedding stationary. Get inspired this fall with a few wedding trends that truly never go out of style!

Sachi - A Desert Bridal Session

As summer rolls on, we can't help but reminisce on one of our most beloved bridal sessions. Set against the gorgeous New Mexico desert, our bride/model Sachi was nothing short of an absolute Southwestern goddess. Bright florals and succulents sourced from a local backyard paired with an intricate wedding gown and a cake topped with a cactus heart made this golden hour vision something straight out of a dream. New Mexico is pure magic and this extremely special bridal session is the perfect tribute to our stunning home state.
