Randy + Danielle, a Desert Engagement

Randy and Danielle might not be getting married until next year (June 2020) but we can’t help but gush over these two and their incredible sweet love story.

After meeting through mutual friends, these two hung out for the first time at Austin City Limits and immediately hit it off after a weekend of amazing music. And even though they lived in different cities (Randy in Houston and Danielle in Austin) these two made it work and eventually decided to officially call Austin home.

Between being the coolest couple around (they love doing everything and anything outdoors) and having two of the cutest fur babies on the planet (Autumn and Jude), they’re also major couple goals. Along with having fun together (playing Mario Kart and watching Game of Thrones), these two speak each other’s love languages perfectly — Danielle loves how supportive and caring Randy is (he washes her car every Saturday and always remembers to snag macaroons from her fave bakery— insert all the heart eyes) and Randy loves how Danielle is so loving in the way that she always puts others first.

We can’t wait for their Santa Fe celebration at La Fonda on the Plaza next summer, bring on the party babes!

Geoff + Jocelyn, a Rock House Engagement

Last month, we spent a golden hour evening with two of the most fun, light-hearted sweethearts around! Geoff and Jocelyn kept their Rock House engagement sooo carefree and fun that we couldn’t help but share a few of their silly moments alongside their breathtaking romantics on the blog!

These babes have been together for 4 years and met in the best way possible, while petting a dog at the same time. Geoff and Jocelyn like to to keep their relationship loving, supportive, and of course a little bit goofy! Not to mention they share a mutual love for ice cream.

We are over the moon to capture their Monday (!) wedding at Hacienda Dona Andrea this June. We can’t wait to be a part of their incredibly genuine, romantic, and downright fun love story!

Ashwin + Lauren, a Snowy New Mexico Engagement

Earlier this year, we took full advantage of the wild snow storms New Mexico threw at us to capture the ever so sweet and serene Ashwin and Lauren. In something straight out of a movie, these lovebirds, who are also both physicians, met while working night shifts at a hospital in Boston. They slowly fell in love over late night snacks and even did a long distance relationship when Ashwin moved to Philadelphia for a cardiology residency. Lauren mentioned that her and Ashwin not only love laughing and bringing out the best in each other, but they’re also best friends. And after three years of loving each other, they’re soooo ready to make this a forever thing.

These babes will also be setting the bar for Santa Fe weddings sky high this Labor Day weekend with a two day celebration! They’ll kick of their forever with a New Mexico inspired, classic, elegant wedding at the iconic Cathedral Basilica of St Francis of Assisi off of the Santa Fe Plaza followed by a vibrant, colorful Hindu celebration (including a groom entrance on a white horse…real life fairytale much?!) in honor of Ashwin’s culture. We can’t even begin to describe just how excited we are for this giant, beautiful weekend!!

Colton + Lindsey, a Snowy New Mexico Engagement

If there’s anything we love more than a fairytale proposal its when it takes place at Disneyworld! Colton and Lindsey met when they were only 12 years old, but flash forward to October 2018 when Colton popped the question at the Happiest Place on Earth in front of Lindsey’s family. We can’t wait for their dream day this fall at Hyatt Regency Tamaya!

Styled Sunday - Desert Lovers

This fall, we asked one of our fan favorite couples, Dillon and Stephanie, to adventure with us into the New Mexico desert for some golden hour magic with a handful of extremely talented vendors. From the stunning florals the gals over at Renegade Floral brought, to Hello Jori’s delicate hand-lettering, to Emerald Pie Bakery’s sweet little personalized macaroons and pies, we were in heaven for one brief little evening.

Besides having amazing style, these lovers even brought their sweet pup Penny along and we were beyond thrilled to capture this sweet little family together! Here’s to more incredible twilight moments with gorgeous couples and stunning details!

Josh + Delaney, a Paa-Ko Ridge Wedding

Long before they had the dreamiest mountain top wedding at Paa-ko Ridge Gold Club, Josh and Delaney met through Greek life events in the fall of 2014 at New Mexico State University. These babes instantly clicked, Delaney admired Josh for his quick wit and incredibly caring heart while Josh was immediately smitten with Delaney’s bubbly personality and her genuine beauty. While still in college Josh lavilered Delaney (a Greek life tradition wherein a fraternity brother presents his significant other with a necklace of his frat letters as a symbol of commitment and love. Major swoon right?!) and knew that she was his forever.

In fall of 2017 Josh decided to make it last name official and proposed to Delaney during holiday photos in the Albuquerque foothills. Knowing how important Delaney’s sorority sisters are to her, Josh made sure that he popped the question right before her final college semester so that she could celebrate her engagement with her closest friends.

We ventured up to Par-ko Ridge Golf Club this October to capture these lovers with one of the most genuine, heartfelt days of the year. From opting for pre-ceremony letter reading near each other instead of a first look to having one of their close friends officiate the ceremony to partying all night, Josh and Delaney were so much fun to hang with for one magical day! We also low-key loved when Delaney and her dad, Sam, shared a quick little pre ceremony drink. Cheers Josh and Delaney, we hope marriage is a blast.

P.S. lets throw a giant party in the mountains again soon okay?

Tyler + Cassie, a La Posada Wedding

This October, we went back to one of our all time favorite venues, La Posada de Santa Fe, for an unforgettable Sunday wedding with Texas lovers Tyler and Cassie. It may have been an unusually chilly and rainy day, but these babes brought the heat on their special day.

Tyler and Cassie’s darling little love story began when Cassie’s sister, Lexi, set them up on a group date (just knowing that they would be perfect for each other)! In early 2018, Tyler proposed in the town square of Mesilla, NM on a random Monday so that Cassie would be completely surprised. Afterwards, their families celebrated with them at La Posta (aka Cassie’s fave restaurant).

For choosing a wedding location, Cassie and Tyler settled on the ever enchanting Santa Fe since Cassie had been coming on weekend getaways to the capital city since she was a little girl. And La Posada turned out to have the perfect aesthetic for their glam, yet cozy wedding.

Flash forward to mid-October when these lovers said “I do” surrounded by their friends and families. Besides an incredible ceremony, we can’t get over the details from this day. Tyler and Cassie incorporated touches of the Southwest into their day including an epic succulent cake (by the queens at Maggie’s Wedding Cakes) to hand painted tiles (that the Just Lovely Weddings team created) to dreamy star lanterns (that seriously reminded us of New Mexico’s gorgeous star filled nights). And even though it was a little bit cold outside, these babes were totally up for romantics both outside in La Posada’s amazing courtyards and inside the infamous Staab house.

Congrats Tyler and Cassie, you raised the bar for amazing little Sunday weddings. We adore you both so much!
