Proposal Inspo - Tips for a Magical Surprise Proposal

When it comes to proposing, we know that every detail matters so we came up with a list of our favorite things to consider when popping the most important question to your soulmate.

Tip #1 - Location
The sweetest proposals are not only memorable, but meaningful as well so location means everything. Whether its a location you both love or a place you’ve always wanted to visit, picking the perfect, picturesque backdrop for the next part of your little love story is the first step in setting the tone. In addition to location, you might want to consider who you want there with you, whether its all of your closest friends and family members or just you with your lover.

Tip #2 - Time
For a breathtaking moment, you need to be sure to set up your proposal during the perfect time of day. Ideally this could be sunrise or sunset when the sun is at its softest. Proposals at mid day can be challenging with the sun at its highest point and late night proposals can be tricky in lower light settings.

Tip #3 - The Ring
It takes a lot of time to plan the perfect proposal, but perhaps one of the most incredible parts is getting to pick out a ring for the love of your life. Be sure to ask them about their favorite gems (do they prefer gemstones or diamonds), setting (think shape of stone and color of band), and maybe even sneak onto their Pinterest board for even more inspo.
